Abstract: Flood prevention dispatching is directly related to the safety of the main body of hydraulic engineering and the flood prevention safety of upstream and downstream protection areas. It plays an important role in flood and drought disaster prevention and is the core of flood and drought disaster prevention work. This paper analyzes the basic concepts,characteristics,difficulties and important factors of flood prevention dispatching,conducts an in-depth analysis of the flood prevention dispatching process of the“2020.8”flood in Chongqing,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for flood dispatching.
