Abstract: Based on the dispatching concept of comprehensively balancing flood prevention and reasonably sharing flood risks， Jiangsu Province strengthens flood dispatching with river basin authorities. Through pre- descent， flood eastward adjustment， river and lake shifting， anti-control and other dispatching measures， the large floods occurred in the Yihe River and Shuhe River in the Yi-Shu-Si River Basin in August 2020 are successfully managed. No major dangers， major disasters or casualties occurred， which ensured that the flood discharge smoothly into the sea and provided water conservancy guarantee for the stability and order of the economy and society of the basin. This paper briefly describes the flood dispatching situation of the Yi-Shu-Si River Basin in August 2020， analyzes the understanding of the flood dispatching of the Yi-Shu-Si area， and puts forward suggestions for further improving the flood dispatching in the Yi-Shu-Si area in the future.
