Abstract: The safe operation of small reservoirs is one of the weakest and most risky areas and the bottom line in the water sector. This paper combs and analyzes the common problems found in the supervision work in accordance with the deployment of the Ministry of Water Resources on the supervision work of small reservoirs and its three years of experience in the special inspections on the safe operation of small reservoirs, and combines the corresponding relevant laws, regulations, norms, rules and regulations, suggestions are put forward for the safe operation of small reservoirs for reference.
