Discussion on the present situation and future development of basinal meteorological work in China

Major river Basins plays a very important role in China's economic and social development and ecological security.Basinal meteorological support services are related to people's life and many securities such as property, food, economic, and social securities. This paper summarizes and refines the current situation and problems of basinal meteorological work, deeply analyzes the overall deployment of basinal meteorological work in various plans of China Meteorological Administration, and carefully sorts out the deployment of Yangtze, Yellow and Pearl Rivers, and puts forward the goals and tasks of comprehensively improving the meteorological support capacity of the basins in the future, aiming at solidly promoting the quality and efficiency of basinal meteorological work and helping high-quality economic and social development.
