Abstract:
Taking Landsat series satellite imagery as the main data source, combined with hydrological data, thematic data and other related research literature;twelve images of Liangzi Lake corresponds to periods of high and low water level around 1970,1980,1990,2000,2010 and 2016 are selected to extract the lake boundary using normalized water body index and the modified normalized index and calculate the lake area and flood storage volume. In addition, combined with the impact of human activities in the Liangzi Lake area, the change trend of lake area and flood storage volume is analyzed. The results show that:① the relative errors of the extracted water body area and the calculated storage volume of Liangzi Lake are within 10%;②Within 45 years since 1973,the water surface area and flood storage volume of Liangzi Lake have decreased in the beginning and then increased, which is closely related to the impact of human activities.
